BETHEL TWP. — A Tecumseh High School student was arrested on drug charges Thursday, Jan. 28, according to a Clark County Sheriff’s Office report.

Taylor Karas, 18, of 11268 Carriage Hill Lane, New Carlisle, was arrested on charges of drug abuse and drug paraphernalia Thursday, according to the report.

School officials allegedly detected the scent of marijuana on Karas around 9:30 a.m. Thursday, said Sgt. Dee Shaw, Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

Upon questioning Karas, the student gave school officials permission to search her car and told them that marijuana could be found there, said Shaw.

Karas was ordered into court.
